Why do we place a stone instead of flowers on the headstone of a loved one? Though flowers are pretty, they do not last. A stone, no matter the size, will last forever and symbolizes the permeance of memory of the beloved and their legacy. By placing the stone, we show that someone has been there, and that our loved one’s memory continues to live on.
With our changing society and many of us now living far from Pride of Lynn Cemetery, it can be difficult to pay our respects to our loved ones by visiting the cemetery in person. At Pride of Lynn, we understand and are offering families the chance to memorialize their) loved one.s . Pride of Lynn is now offering a new service for those who would like to take advantage of it.. Contacted, we shall visit the cemetery, place a rock on your loved one’s grave, take a dated photograph of the headstone or marker with the stone, and send it to you by e-mail for your remembrance. In addition, during High Holidays, we will ask our official religious readers to say Kaddish at your beloved’s actual gravesite.
We ask for a minimum tax-deductible donation of $36/year or more. For 10 years, please donate $250.00
